My Daily Fun Blog - Turn Around

When you are done making a series of photographs at a location, what do you do? Maybe you put your camera away and move on to a new venue at the same location. Maybe you get in your car and leave the location entirely. Or, maybe you turn around and look at what was at your back. You will probably be surprised at what you see.

After photographing the falls on the Wildcat River above Jackson, New Hampshire, I turned around and looked downstream. The image below is what I saw: a solitary pine against a mountain range. I came to photograph the falls and left with a bonus image.
