Today, my wife and I combined our passions in a visit to nearby Lowell, Massachusetts. Mine is photography and hers is textiles. My wife is a quilter of no small talent.
This community was in the forefront of the industrial revolution with regard to the manufacturing of textiles. Even in this day and age, the nearby Lowell Campus of the University of Massachusetts is undoubtedly the foremost textile college in the United States.
So, armed with my new Fuji X-E2, we visited the National Park Services' Boott Cotton Mills Museum and the American Textile History Museum. For me, to continue my education with this new camera system. And for her, to fall even deeper into her passion.
Until next time...
